Good hike back to lovely falls and a swimming hole.
Nice short hike along Great Creek. Be sure to wear supportive boots/shoes because the path is pretty Rocky but not much of an elevation change and is a good choice for all skill levels. There are at least two campsites; one directly adjacent to the parking area and another just a very short height up the trail to the right.
An easy hike to the first 'cascade' at a little less than a mile; the terrain is rocky and you pass over 1 wooden bridge that is not handicap friendly. After the first cascade the trail is not marked at all and constantly crosses over a creek - you will likely get wet and some of them are a bit dangerous if you are trying to stay dry. There are trees down all over the place, one runs the length of the trail for 60 feet. There are two more 'cascade' or 'waterfalls', though the first you encounter is the most impressive. I made it 2 miles in. It is a pretty hike if you are up for the challenge of finding the trail and crossing over a decent sized creek.
2 miles round trip of non stop waterfalls. Up until the bridge the hike is very kid/ elder/ pet friendly. Afterward it is a tricky hike to the end, but worth the views. Wear some Tevas and swim wear, there are plenty of places to take a dip!
spectacular and beautiful scenery great wading pool to refresh. At the end of trail of 191 from the parking lot and trail head is the major falls that seem to cascades from as far as the eyes can see!!! However after viewing the falls I looked over and up across the gorge is evidence of a recent rock fall shortly thereafter the return from the major falls. So be mindful of your surroundings admire the awesome beauti but don't forget it can be dangerous.
